Overall, we are satisfied with the experience we had with Crystal Auto Rental Belize. I have managed everything through whats app before arrival, then received an email : easy to manage the rental. The car is definitely not the newest car you can get (we rented a Jeep Patriot) but it was perfect for driving South Belize and to ride over gravel during the excursions. For people coming from Europe, make sure your card is a credit card and not a debit card, otherwise you will not be able to rent a car. At the end when we returned the car, the colleague has been super nice: he dropped us to the harbour to take our boat and avoid us to wait for hours.Load more
Verified Fantastic car rental company Online booking was easy! Prices were reasonable. Our plane was delayed by 24 hours. I contacted them via WhatsApp and explained our situation. They held our reservation no problem! Once we arrived, our customer service rep was fantastic. She fully explained the insurances and what coverage we had and what my credit card covered. They went over the vehicle with us and pointed out all scratches and minor issues with the vehicle. When we returned the vehicle, the representative quickly checked the fuel level and condition of the vehicle. We signed off on the inspection and were on our way. We recommend renting from Crystal.Verified Reliable and Good Service Communication before reaching the country was a bit slow at first, and then came around...and once in country they were very good via WhatsApp. I have used them before and would again.They will charge a substantial deposit if you don't use their insurance even if you have a "car rental insurance" with Allianz or another company. It was $1200 charged for 8 days but they do not try to charge you for things that are not your responsibility. There will be lot of little dings and such on the vehicle and the vehicles are decent but don't expect a brand new car. It totally worked for my purposes and this is the 3rd time I used them and will again. I did get a nail in the tire and had to pay because didn't have their insurance but can make a claim on my own if I want to get reimbursed the $10US. All in all it was a reliable vehicle and decent price for Belize.Load more
