Download WhatsApp by Facebook: It is a popular messaging app that allows users to send instant voice, text, image and video messages. It’s an excellent way to call and share videos of your trip from anywhere in the world with no charge, (all you need is internet) to keep up with family and friends while you’re here.
Navigation Apps: Google Maps and Waze work well in Belize as long as you have internet on your phone. Additionally, if you don’t have internet, the Karta GPS app is a great option as it works offline and will tell you your exact location.
Insurance Coverage: Please note, your US car insurance will not give you any coverage outside the USA. The only insurance you have available is the credit card, some credit cards have even discontinued this collision damage waiver. Please call your credit card company to confirm that it covers collision damage waiver in the country of Belize. This will save you money.
Money: There is a bank at the airport, please check with the agents at Crystal’s office and they will guide you to the bank.
